Our mission.
The purposes of this association are: to exchange information on all semi-automatic pistols; the assist and encourage new collectors; to exchange ideas; to assist authors in the writing of new reference works; and to assist members in building their collections.
While the interests of our members sometimes extend beyond the purposes mentioned above, the association's focus remains on semi-automatic pistols--one of the greatest innovations in the history of the gun.
Semi-auto changed the face of warfare in ways that no one could have expected by providing the functionality of the repeating rifle in a small, concealable package. Soldiers equipped with autos were armed with firepower up to 4 times that of the revolver.
By working to learn and preserve these curios and relics, we preserve history for future generations of collectors.
